Founded in 2024 in Goldsboro North Carolina by Owners Ja’Shawn & Yuliana Faire, Generation BBQ Pit was built from the ground up with one simple goal: serve real, authentic barbecue that brings people together. What started as long nights behind the smoker, learning fire control, perfecting brisket, and staying patient through every cook, quickly turned into something bigger.
For us, barbecue is personal. It’s early mornings checking the pit, long hours making sure every piece of meat is done right, and the satisfaction of seeing people enjoy something you put your heart into. There were no shortcuts—just time, consistency, and a commitment to getting better every single cook.
Our style blends the bold, bark-heavy tradition of Texas barbecue with the rich, vinegar-based roots of North Carolina. From brisket to chopped NC pork, everything we serve is cooked low and slow, seasoned right, and made with purpose.
